TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
This tour starts in Amsterdam. Players will have time to sight-see in Amsterdam. Stroll along the canals and take in all the amazing sights in Amsterdam. A tournament is scheduled for the weekend just outside Amsterdam in Haarlem. The group will move on to visit Dunkirk, Ghent, Ypres, Amiens, and Paris.Pickleball will be played in Haarlem, Ghent and Paris.A unique feature for this tour is a stop at the following Canadian war Memorials at Dunkirk, Tyne Cot Cemetery, Menin Gate, Vimy Ridge and Beaumont Hamel.We will visit the Notre Dame Cathedral in Amiens, one the largest Gothic Cathedral in the world. Our trip concludes in Paris.
A mini tournament will be played with local players and then players will have time to explore the wonderful city of Paris.

TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 Amsterdam/Haarlem, Netherlands
Arrive in Amsterdam and transfer to the hotel. The hotel and Pickleball courts are in Haarlem, a suburb of Amsterdam. Check in and welcome reception included. Time to do a little sightseeing. Dinner on your own. Travelers are welcome to arrive a day or two early to have some extra time exploring the city. (Additional nights at the hotel are not included)
Day 2 Amsterdam/Haarlem, Netherlands
Breakfast at the hotel is included. After breakfast we will spend the morning strolling through the streets of Amsterdam. Optional guided tours will be arranged for those interested. At 3:00pm we will head to the Pickleball courts for some warm-up time before the tournament. Dinner on your own. Optional group dinner can be arranged.
Day 3 Amsterdam/Haarlem, Netherlands
Breakfast at the hotel is included. Transfer to the courts for Day 1 of the tournament.
Players will take part in the PLC Sports Netherlands Cup. Teams will be in action all day. Players will play against local Pickleball players. Transfer back to the hotel at the end of the day. Dinner on your own. A group dinner can be arranged.
Day 4 Haarlem, Netherlands
Breakfast at the hotel. Today players will return to the Pickleball club for one more day of competition.
Awards will be presented after the final games. A tournament party will be included.
Day 5 Ghent, Belgium
Breakfast at the hotel included. After breakfast we will board the bus and transfer to Ghent, Belgium.
We will have time for a local tour after lunch. At 3:00pm we will head to the Pickleball courts for a Pickleball Festival with local players. Dinner on your own.
Day 6 Dunkirk/Tyne Cot Cemetery/Ypres/Menin Gate
Breakfast at the hotel included. At 9:00am the group will depart to Dunkirk to visit the Canadian War Memorials and museum. Lunch in Dunkirk. After lunch we will transfer to the Tyne Cot Cemetery for a visit. We will then transfer to Ypres, Belgium and check into the hotel. We will attend the Last Post Ceremony at the Menin Gate.
Day 7 Vimy Ridge/Beaumont-Hamel War Memorials/Amiens, France
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast the group will transfer to the Canadian War Memorial at Vimy Ridge and then on to the Beaumont-Hamel Memorial. We will transfer to Amiens, France for the night. Dinner on your own.
Day 8 Amiens to Paris, France
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Amiens Cathedral. The Cathedral is one of the largest “classic” Gothic Cathedrals of the 13th century. After the visit to the Cathedral, the group will transfer to Paris. Check into the hotel. A Pickleball session will be arranged from 4:00pm to 7:00pm. Dinner will be on your own.
Day 9 Paris, France
Breakfast at the hotel. Local sightseeing in the morning. Transfer to the Pickleball courts after lunch for the start of the tournament. Transfer back to the hotel. Dinner on your own.
Day 10 Paris, France
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the Pickleball club for Day 2 of the tournament. There will be a social activity planned for Saturday night with the local players.
Day 11 Home
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport for the flight home.

PRICING:
Canadian travelers pay in CDN
US and International travelers pay in USD
Tour package pricing is per person, and based on double occupancy. Single room prices available upon request. A deposit fee is required to register for the tour. Requests for add-on tour pricing will be detailed in the custom tour quote.
Pricing does not include:
• Meals (unless indicated in the itinerary)
• Personal spending money
• Admission tickets to attractions (unless indicated in the itinerary)
AIRFARE:
Airfare is NOT included in the package price. Travelers are welcome to book their own airfare as per the group’s arrival and departure schedule. Please consult with PLC Sports Travel before booking your flights. Travelers will be expected to ensure their arrival and departure coincides with the group bus transfer times. If your flights do not correspond with the group transfer time, you will be required to arrange your own transportation.
TRAVEL INSURANCE:
PLC Sports Travel requires all travelers to have out of country health insurance. We also recommend you purchase trip cancellation and or trip interruption insurance to protect yourself from any unforeseen circumstances. Insurance is not included in the package.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
If a person cancels the ground portion of the tour, the following charges will apply:
• 91 + Days prior to departure, you will receive a refund of the payments you have made less a $100.00 service charge.
• 61-90 Days prior to departure, you will receive a 50% refund of the payments you have made less the $100.00 non-refundable deposit. If you find a replacement player/guest, you will receive a full refund less a $250.00 service charge.
• 0-60 Days prior to departure, no refund will be issued. If you find a replacement player/guest, you will receive a full refund less a $250.00 service charge.
